When you need a good roofer, then you really need a good roofer. Unfortunately, many people think they can install a roof with little or no experience and they end up causing issues for the next 20 years. Some leaks are minor with no damage. So how do you know when your roofing contractor is just seeing dollar signs while recommending full replacement, when a patch would do? Most people don’t, and that is how they get away with it.You have to ask yourself how much peace of mind are you after. If you need 20 years or more, then get a new roof. If you can sleep okay with less, then get an honest roofer to make repairs.
